「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「Room was very comfortable, staff are friendly, foods is excellent. But, it needs improvement in car park facilities, an additional staff for parking may be better at peak season.」

「The hotel was wonderful. All of the staff without exception were friendly, pleasant, courteous and helpful. I loved the Yoga sessions thank you Franny, Caroline and Laura. The hotel is out of the way, which suited us fine but it is difficult to locate and if you want shops etc the Beach Club is not for you. The curtesy bus was extremely useful.」

「Staff were lovely, location is gorgeous, rooms very outdated and in general the flow of constant tour buses full of elderly travelers made me feel like I was staying in a nursing home. Staff very rigid about breakfast timing and use of breakfast room not alllowed after 10:00am so if you are not an early riser, take note. Lift was also broken for full 4 nights of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor.」

「A very traditional old fashioned hotel in an excellent location on the sea front. Unfortunately we did not get the room we had booked. We booked a deluxe double or twin with sea view. Our confirmation from Expedia clearly showed a photo of the room type we had booked as did their website. We had also checked the hotels own website which also showed the deluxe sea view room and described it has having more space. On being shown to our room on the top floor it was clearly not the room we had...
