“Really pleasant experience. Staff are so friendly. Free drink on check in. Discounted lunch as staying. The lunch was beautiful, best burgers we've eaten. We were in room 6 right at the top of 2 small flights of stairs. Very comfortable, not noisy. Within a short easy walk to the O2 forum and Kentish Town tube station. Would definitely stay here again.”

“When I checked in I think the gentleman tried speaking slowly to make me understand easier cause I am a foreigner. It’s an old historical hotel and I think the founder love poem, I can see from the declaration. Anyway they provided the best breakfast. ”

“The place is very convenient , tube, buses and coaches are easily accessed, only a minute away. Shops and cafe are just downstairs, The room is clean and tidy. However, the double bed is horrible, very very soft , we both got back pain after the first night and I whenever he moves , it wake me up. On the last night , we were both sleeping on the floor instead. ”

“The property was very clean, and the instructions for entry were clear. I found the bed a bit small, it’s a shame there aren’t options with larger beds. ”

“Bathroom wa sa very small wet room, which flooded the bedroom floor! Lucky there was nothing of mine on the floor that could have been ruined. Consequence of a tiny wetr9om is that the toilet is completely soaked after using the shower. The room was extremely noisy, even with powerful earplugs. I think there was either a band on until fairly late, or very loud music. ”

“The location is just fantastic. Thameslink, overground and underground are just within 2-4 mins walk. 4 supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Though the building is old, it is clean and tidy. The bathroom is newly renovated. WiFi is strong. When comparing to the price, it is competitive. We will surely recommend it to our friends.”

“We had a nice couple of nights in this charming pub/hotel. Our room was on the top floor so quite a few stairs, but that wasn’t really an inside for us. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The food served in the pub was delicious, we would definitely return in the future. ”
