「Was a little concerned when we couldn't contact anybody regarding Check In (They had a big wedding going on on the Saturday when I tried to call) - Call returned Sunday Am at about the same time that we went to make sure alll was OK which it was and we even checked in early - result! Returned later - enjoyed the peaceful ambiance. Only comment would be that room could do with 2 comfortable chairs - especially as it is the "Premium Room" - the hard ones not so good forsitting for any length of...

「We needed an overnight stop near Lewes, this being a mile or so north. 「We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon! 」

「The hotel looks very new. Not sure if it’s a new built/ newly refurbished. It’s very modern and the staff there (Brighton) was wonderful and very welcoming during check in & out, luggage storage etc. Such a convenient location as it’s more or less 5 mins walk from the train station. About 15mins walk down to the seaside which is close enough. The room is clean and all essentials kitchenware included if you want to cook during your stay. We didn’t cook as there’s too much great food temptation...
