「I wasn't expecting much based on other reviews of this property, so was pleasantly surprised at the few things this hotel got right. The room was clean, which is a definite plus considering there was no daily housekeeping. We were given a room on the first floor which I did not like. But the hotel was pretty empty when we got there, so I figured they were just putting everyone on the first floor. I was wrong. When the guests above us were in their room, we could hear every single footstep above...

「The room was clean. Staff was helpful and communicative. Quiet area, at least during off season. The deck area was nice. Short walk to the lake front, about 15 minutes. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Could use a bigger tv for night time relaxation. 」

「This is a hidden gem in Michigan City. My nephew play football for Notre Dame, and this was a god send. Away from all the business of South Bend, and the closeness to Chicago, I will definitely book again when I go back to South Bend!!!」

「We just needed one night to recover from our day at Indiana Dunes before we headed out of town. It was a great spot. The decor is so cute. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked just fine. We had a little trouble with the key code on the door when we checked in, but the host was VERY responsive and quick. Hardly a moment of delay accessing the property.」

「This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park.」
