「Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.! Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly. Was a wonderful week🙂」

「Location was good. Chalet was very dated, but OK. Shower leaked and the bathroom smelt of mouldy water. Outdoor swimming pool was great, but good if it could open later in summer. Main bar and entertainment were great for kids, but drinks were far too expensive - there's just no need for it! Arcade was hit-and-miss. Lots of machines didn't work, but never anyone around to help when you needed them. Good to visit, but won't be rushing back.」

「The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel.」

「We booked a one night stay in the Albert Room. Room was very nice, particularly the wonderful sea views, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Bathroom was spacious and featured a double rainfall shower. Towels were soft and felt quite new. The room has a large terrace with sun loungers and chairs, but no privacy from the other rooms on the same level. Hotel has a well maintained car park. 「Great location just a couple of minutes from the beach. Tucked away in a quiet area. Good parking for a motorbike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room had all you needed. Large fan was a godsend. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Indoor pool lovely. Even has a brilliant private snooker room. Would stay again for next IOW visit.」

「Very dated decor and in need of complete renovation. Walls and ceilings of bedroom were pale and faded magnolia / white with painted over cracks in ceiling. Rooms very warm (no aircon) and only a cheap plastic desk fan to cool them down. Very basic facilities / amenities in room (cheap plastic kettle, single bottle of 'shampoo & gel' in bathroom and cheap plastic bins and toilet brush. Restaurant was like something from the 1970's with long, slow moving queue for cereals and juices and then...

「This was the first Hotel i have stayed in where a Fridge in the room wasn't available I would not recommend Room 23 as it was so noisy , above the main door in , the Bins were collected at 5am and we didn't get any sleep after that.」

「The property is listed as luxury cottages. The picture looked as if it has sea view. There was no wifi and the very limited mobile data connection. We had to come to the decking area for signal. The next property was separated by plants. The guests were so loud and sat outside most of the time so we had to be indoors and keep the door and windows shut for some peaceful time. The view was a wall of plants. It was a nice cozy cottage but should not be advertised as 'luxury'.」
