「Lovely apartment, good kitchen, comfy bed. As others have mentioned, the hot water unit makes annoying sounds but it certainly works fine. The steps up to the apartment were lengthy but not a big deal. Having free parking was wonderful! It was also lovely to stroll along the paths through the neighborhood south of the apartment. 」

「Incredible apartment which made our stay in beautiful Varenna so enjoyable. The host was great in being helpful, super responsive. We loved our stay. The location is the best as it is centrally located and even more within a few steps (literally) of several great restaurants, wine bar and the water area. 「Beautiful and convenient location right on the water! Communication with the host was good. We arrived by train and had to find our way in the rain, and at night. I would recommend arriving in the light of day. The dark and rainy night made the navigation with gps a little difficult.The photos in the directions were helpful, however in the dark it was a bit unclear how far to walk after getting the keys. I kept wondering if there was a way to enter without going through the parking area. Great...

"We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice ."
