Thank you very much for your review. I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would “highly recommend” my property. I am also pleased to hear that you “very nearly” gave me a 5 star review even though you consider yourself to be a hard to please reviewer… I welcome all comments; so thank you for your observations which I will take this opportunity to address (although some of your comments are addressed in my guest book which you may not have had chance to look at during your stay). Firstly, I am sorry that your journey to Liverpool took 30 minutes as it is normally only a 15/20 minute car journey. We are only 6 miles away from the city centre and no doubt your delayed journey was due to the major re-development of the main road into the city. Like me, you obviously enjoy your coffee and that is why I have two coffee makers on site. In addition, I always leave freshly ground coffee for my guests. I have had a capsule machine at the property in the past but previous guests have stated they prefer freshly ground coffee rather than the capsules. Personal choice I suppose, but for hygiene purposes I find a caffetteria more suitable. I did feel that the Sony 60 inch screen TV in the living room with BOSE surround sound system, giving a cinema experience; along with the DVD player and DVDs was sufficient. I have not had any other guest comment on the lack of Sky channels or SMART TV. However I take on board your comments and agree that a SMART TV should be there. I will also look into theSky option. This will be something I will look to address in the near future as customer experience is important to me. I note from your comments re outdoor eating area not being big enough and again, I felt that the paved area with the enormous lawned area (the size of two tennis courts) was sufficient. However, you have highlighted a future development that I already had in mind. I plan to expand the patio area later this summer as I am constantly developing this property and had in mind to make an even better patio area. This will indeed be addressed. In addition, I often have groups of seven or eight guests have found the two table and chair sets, the outdoor garden sofa and two outdoor lounge chairs, along with the BBQ perfectly adequate. I can only think that you didn’t spot all of the garden furniture that is stored in the garage? Again this is all itemised in my guest book. In addition, I think your suggestion of a gate onto the beach area is a good one and I will look to put this in place in the future. But finally, and you did make me smile – I can’t do anything about the sea breeze and to lower the garden to create a sunken area would be a huge undertaking. I can’t promise to address this any time soon but who knows, perhaps in the future. Overall I really appreciate your feedback and am very pleased to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay. Thank you so much for your booking and your constructive criticism. You have raised some points that I will certainly address as customer experience is my highest priority. Like you I feel that this property is in a wonderful location, close to all the attractions of the city (only 7 miles to the city centre) but could be in the middle of nowhere as the location is so peaceful.
