Absolutely ideal location in Greenwich. Beautiful building. Decor a little bit tired but certainly clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. This is our 2nd stay and will definitely book again.
This is a good hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a great location. The only reason I marked it down was because the fire alarm went off in error while I was lying in bed at 11pm.
This is an historic building that has had several revitalizations over its many years of existence. It suited most of my needs perfectly fine, except for not having a gym.
Fantastic place to stay. The building is the former accommodation for the Navy's nurses and has been very considerately converted into a hotel, retaining many original features. Best of all however are the people who work here. Simply brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble.
Fantastic location, close to all amenities.
Yes the rooms are slightly tired and could do with freshening up but as a base for exploring Greenwich or further afield the hotel I think offers very good value for money.
The showers are great with good quality large towels which isn’t always the case in some hotels.
Breakfast is excellent with a good choice which is replenished constantly. Special mention to Averton who apart from working incredibly hard at breakfast also greeted everyone with a warm and friendly welcome.
Would recommend wholeheartedly.
Hotel was great and as i was visiting the university of greenwich it was perfect location couldnt have asked for better. Only issue i had was a little limited selection of breakfast but other than that great hotel and i would definitely stay again

Great location, quiet hotel setback from main road, good walking around the area to parks, tourist spots, close to O2 Dome, convenient parking onsite reasonably priced for central London.
Staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and service.
Rooms are spacious with amenities that you need. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Great area and reasonably priced for what you get. Breakfast had a good selection.
The perfect location for a one night stay in Greenwich. Only a couple of minutes walk from Greenwich Park, the Cutty Sark and numerous restaurants and bars.plenty of choice at breakfast. Nice looking bar which unfortunately we didn't get to try,as it closed at 10pm, but not a problem.Would recommend this hotel especially for it's location
Great location for visiting the sights of Greenwich and also the Thames Barrage. Very convenient being virtually in Greenwich Park, easy walk down into the town and also easy access to the Docklands Light Railway for visiting other parts of London.
Only downsides were the lack of draft beer in the bar and the breakfast. Buffet style, no choice of eggs except scrambled. No mushrooms, bacon soggy and sitting in it's own fat, as were the suasages
This is this is definitely not a four-star hotel. Three star more likely.
Definitely in need of some TLC as looking somewhat tired, lots of marks on walls et cetera. Impression from how hotel looks outside is definitely is not followed inside.
Plus points
- Brilliant location just by the entrance to Greenwich Park, next door to Queen’s house etc.,
- Less than a Five minute walk from Cutty Sark /10 minute walk from Greenwich Station
- Loads of restaurants and shops within two minutes walk
- Good, helpful check in
- Very friendly and helpful receptionists
- Very comfortable bed
- breakfast is included, with hot and cold buffet which was pretty good.
Negative points
- needs some improvement as cracks showing.
- Apart from breakfast, no restaurant for lunch & dinner or room service (but you can order deliveroo)
- Had a room facing the main road, so very noisy. Motorcycles, Emergency vehicle sirens going past.. and windows are very thin (strong draft and no noise insulation)
- Seriously noisy radiator- hissing all the time
- No fridge in room
- Fairly small room
Paid 70 £ including breakfast, so not bad, and based on excellent location would stay again. However if had If paid full price - would not be happy as in that case would be poor value. It’s very annoying when hotels get a higher grade then they deserve
