Unique stay in London

My family stayed for four nights in July 2025 (parents, two teen boys) and we really liked the bunkbeds and layout and uniqueness of staying on a houseboat. It's in a gated boat community where lots of people live full time on their boats. It's about an 8 minute walk to Canary Wharf, which is convenient, but it is a bit farther away from a lot of tourist spots and closer to the financial district which is a different vibe. The place is quite new and very clean and well appointed and it's amazing that they get everything you need in a compact space. Our only complaint was that it was extremely hot on the boat and we couldn't leave the doors open at night to cool off because anyone can just walk into the house via the front and back door. There are small portholes that open and one fan but it's not enough when there's record heat in London. It's probably not a problem 95% of the time guests will stay there, though. Overall, we had a nice stay and it's a very comfy and cozy place.
