“We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. “Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . “Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers.
