「Newly renovated hotel trying to improve but still some way from being a 5 star experience. Clear staffing challenges with cleaning and catering staff in particular very new and under trained resulting in a poor standard of service. We had ants in our room which was resolved but also had to leave instructions on how to clean room - basic things like cleaning sink, replacing cups, sugar, milk, cleaning toilet were not done to standard. 「Clean, comfortable rooms with an amazing breakfast buffet. Views from rooms where amazing. Close to airport. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms a bit dated and pool area could use a refresh but overall a great stay. This made our canceled flight experience a bit better :-)」

「Hotel Quinta do Furão is one of the most beautiful hotels that I've ever stayed at. The highlights were the cliffside view with the Atlantic Ocean and mountains in the background, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean in the morning from our room's balcony. Apart from the view, the hotel is well maintained and the breakfast each morning was very satisfying.」

「Mooi verblijf, schoon, kamer ruim genoeg. Ontbijt prima! Restaurants allen op loop afstand en kan je er heerlijk eten. De mogelijkheid om ook in de oceaan te zwemmen is top!!! Wij hadden zeezicht. Locatie is niet ver van het vliegveld. Parkeren van onze huurauto was wel een dingetje, er zijn een beperkt aantal onbetaalde parkeerplaatsen (geel) , het merendeel is betaald parkeren (dag ca €7,50)」

「propre mais très désuet. Manque d'entretien à tous les niveaux, nous n'avons pas utilisez la piscine(pas chauffée) et les spas mais aucune serviette à disposition pour ceux-ci. Emplacement quand même isolée et tranquille. Le personnel est très gentil. Le buffet bon mais pas wow, pas beaucoup de choix. Les quantités ne sont pas très grande non plus. Wifi disponible et de bonne qualité」

「We were forced to book this hotel last minute due to a cancelled flight and no other options. It was incredibly expensive and not worth the cost. The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price. Definitely taking advantage of low inventory on the island」
