“We had an amazing experience staying in the casita. Clayanna was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The sounds from the jungle during the night were very soothing, and being away from all the city was a plus. But meeting Pepe was the highlight of our stay. “The property is a very unique compound with 6 suites and a common room. Each suite has a private bath. The views are spectacular. It is located next to a small winery called Kruger run by an amazing Belgian named Iker. Iker is also a chef and we had our breakfasts and one dinner there. Highly recommend both his food and his wines. Hector, the VRBO host, is also amazing. He was super responsive both leading up to the trip and while we were there. “Cerca del centro, se puede ir caminando aunque tiene una subida algo inclinada , pero en si todo Mazamitla es así. La limpieza bien , un poco reducido el camino hacia el estacionamiento pero cabe carro o camioneta sin problema. Queremos regresar , gracias ”

“Upon arrival, use of bathroom resulted in no water due to failure of toilet to refill. When we returned after 5 day kayak trip, unable to shower due to problem with pump. The owner said we did not have to pay, but there is no means to request a refund at that point. Also, upon opening back doors, the foam strips which provided some seal came loose and were difficult to replace, leaving openings for insects to enter.”
