"If it was out of 10, we would give it 7.5. The facility is nice, jetted tub in the room was nice! Great size, we had a balcony, and stand in rainfall shower. The shower door didnt stay closed though, so the bathroom floor often got wet. Also, there was some water damage in the room that should be addressed. "The resort was really beautiful. The staff are really nice. The only issue I had was I got bit by something on the bed like I have like 10 to 12 big lumps on my hands and we noticed every time we close our room door when we’re leaving when we come back, it smells like poop. My vices don’t stay on the first floor maybe go up but overall the resort is really nice and also it’s far away from a lot of things and they don’t suggest or have any package deal to take you anywhere."

"This place is brand new, only 4 months old since it opened. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you by answering your questions or by simply confirming a taxi when needed. "This is a very well operated Hotel. Easy access to all Tulum has to offer without the inconvenience of the beach road Hotels. I have stayed in most of the 4 to 5 star Hotels in Tulum over the past 20 years and prefer the Aloft. Its a very friendly Hotel that you can really enjoy with all the restaurants and shops within walking distance. I will be returning to Tulum again shortly and will again stay at the Aloft ."
