「Everything about this hotel was absolutely delightful - the setting,hotel staff and food (there were even howler monkeys in the trees next to our room) would definitely return and recommend.」
「Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....

It’s still a work in progress, so going here in the future will be even better. But for our stay, the bungalows (two story lodges) were brilliant!

Had everything we could need.
Cleaned daily.
Food was available, but at cost. This wasn’t an issue and we enjoyed it washed down with a drink or too in the bar area.
The hot tub/spa was nice. Lovely temp and surrounded by forest. Very relaxing.
We stayed as a family of three, our son 9yrs of age....
「This was our first time in La Fortuna and we loved the location of this rental home. It was about 15 minutes from downtown and had amazing views with beautiful gardens. The pool with Arenal in the background was breathtaking. However, we didn’t realize that only the bedrooms in this rental would have AC with the main part of the house (kitchen and living room) being more like a screened in porch.
