"The stay was very good in terms of the scenery and location. It was close to a lot of amenities and activities. The host was very nice and friendly. The issues we faced with this location is that it was on a marina and it seemed more as though we were a part of the marina verses really enjoying the seclusion of water and forest. "The cottage is very nicely set up with everything that you could need. It’s very clean and well-maintained.It’s a little far from any stores and can give a sense that it’s very secluded. The only place to go for a walk is on the gravel road. We came there to go fishing and found that there were not a lot of bites at all. While we did catch a few, it was not a very good lake for a fishing trip, which was our purpose. If you are not going for fishing then the lake is beautiful for swimming, etc....

"Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. "

"This property was not as advertised. I can’t recommend it. It seemed as if the owner has not been to the property based off of their comments. We took 28 pictures of damages already at the property when we arrived. Most of which the owner was unaware of. Despite being told that help could be sent out if we had any concerns no one came to fix the broken AC unit. The thermostat had a heat alert on for our whole stay. Very disappointing."

"Spacious home with 5 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 fridges was perfect to accommodate 10 adults. Outdoor area was huge with multiple places to sit and relax (by the dock, by the fire pit, on the deck) and lots of room for outdoor games on the grass. A beautiful property! "

"We all enjoyed our stay at Leslie's cottage by the river. We spent a lot of time lounging on the dock, enjoying the patio set, and canoe and kayaks provided! Leslie's communication was amazing, we even got tips on where to find some really cool waterfalls just minutes away from our location. I slept in the bunkie myself, and found it very comfortable. The kitchen had lots of space, and the kids took advantage of the tv in the living room. We would definitely recommend staying here! "
