We had a fantastic stay. The one-bed apartment was spacious, clean, and very cosy — perfect for a comfortable weekend. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, even surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location was great too, right next to the bus stop, making it super easy to get into the city centre. A wonderful stay all round!

Lovely and clean and a good location for buses into Oxford town Centre. Although we ate out each day, the kitchen had everything David and Melanie were great hosts, very helpful. Thank you.

Family staycation

Had a lovely stay at High Hedges apartments. Melanie made us feel very welcome, communicated with us the whole time and gave us great knowledge of the area. It was very convenient for a young family, had everything we could need and very good location to city centre. Quick bus ride over. Will definitely stay again if coming to Oxford.

This is my second stay at High Hedges. The people, the apartment, the location - all are excellent. Although the place was beautiful the first time, it has been renovated since my first stay and is even more beautiful now! Being an American, I love my ice - and they even have an ice maker! Don't hesitate to book High Hedges. It is an excellent place to stay.

The host Meleane is very friendly. She provided a map for us to get around the town. Her place is very clean, spacious, and comfy, especially convenient with water/dryer in unit. High recommended!

Fantastic stay for our trip to Oxford! The apartment looks brand new and was very spacious, modern and comfortable! Easy parking on site. Melanie is a wonderful host and gave us lots of info on getting around and where to eat. Continental breakfast with tea/coffee, juice and local jams was a nice touch! Easy to catch bus into city center (7-10min) or 30 min walk. Would love to return and highly recommend!

A home from home.

We were in apartment A, the delux option. Checking in was easy, with a key code provided, a day or so before arrival. The property had 4 rooms: well equipped kitchen (fridged, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster & kettle), bathrrom, large lounge (with small dining table) big bedroom with huge bed. Everything was very clean and neatmy presented - a real home from home. Croissant, fresh flowers, milk, bathrobes, coffee pods were all welcome extras. The property was quiet and an easy 40 min walk to the centre. 5 mins walk away was a small shopping precinct. Would happily recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was a bonus . We were greeted on arrival by the lovely host Melanie whom gave us info of the area and showed us on a map. The accommodation was outstanding, the photos do not do it justice at all. The little extras like the tea bags , milk in the fridge, fruit and croissants were all a really lovely touch. We had planned to walk a lot and see the sights , there is a bus stop almost outside the property which gets you to the train station and then we could walk and explore. What a great time we had in a fantastic accommodation which was spotlessly clean too.

Delightful Apartment

Delightful and very comfortable apartment. Lovely welcoming details such as flowers, fruit and nice food for breakfast. Presently impressed with the offer. I highly recommend it. Easy to get by car with access to nearby village pubs but more importantly a 10 min bus ride to the city centre. Lovely place.

Melanie was fabulous, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in apartment C, which was very comfortable and the decor was lovely. The cooked breakfast was great and plenty of it although there were other options if you don't want a full English. Would definately stay again if going to Oxford.

Lovely apartment with fantastic hosts

We had a great 2 nights. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. And the room was stocked with bread, milk, eggs, yogurts croissants, orange juice, aswell as the usual tea coffee. As soon as we had settled in we were encouraged to come to the main house prior to heading into town where Melanie provided local tourist guides and highlighted attractions based on what we said we would like to do during our stay. The town is only 10-15 minute bus journey away, with multiple bus routes covering the journey. Would highly recommend

A very warm welcome

Communication with the host prior to our stay was brilliant. Melanie was so welcoming when we arrived and provided us with refreshments whilst we waited for our appartment to become ready. She also provided us with information on how to get in and out of Oxford and places to visit and eat. The appartment was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed.
