Super Clean & Easy To Use House

Everything in the house was super easy to use (smart TVs, hot tub/pool, locks, etc.). Management was available if needed, but nothing went wrong so there wasn't anything to inquire about. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Vacation

We went July 4th with just my wife and 9 & 10 year boys. It was 118 degrees and we stayed in the pool pretty much all day every day for 4 days. The property was great! Cool A/C, great decorating. Looks like the house had just been painted inside and out as it looked brand new. Alta Mira Property Manager Lars was super easy to work with. He was very responsive and picked up phone whenever we called. This was our first time using VRBO and it was a great experience!

Beautiful home in a great location

It's in a great neighborhood walking distance to coffee and 2 minute drive to shops and groceries. The rental company was so helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend.

Fun property for family with teens

We had a great time at this VRBO. Beautiful backyard with an excellent pool and hot tub. Plenty of space for a family of 4- loved the separate casita that opened up to the pool! Good location to easily access all of the fun things to do in Palm Springs! The management company was also very easy to work with..

The house is nice but there were a few things that could be beter. AC in the house is noisy and during the heat not cold enough to get a good nights rest. There were a few little things missing like a doormat outside the kitchen, a laundry rack and pinchers. Overall the house was very nice and had a lot of items that were very convenient.

Delightful home in Twin Palms

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first year with this home and with Altamira. We are renting again next year and adding a week. The house is great, fabulous mountain views and a lovely yard and pool. It is in the desirable Twin Palms neighborhood, convenient to everything. Good space with a master and a casita. Well-stocked kitchen and cool decor. There was some traffic noise as it is on a busier street but with the setback it didn’t bother us. Very walkable area with many beautiful homes. Altamira staff were great, super friendly, helpful and responsive.

La Verne House

Overall good. But, weather was very cold and heater in Cassita did not work. Never got fixed when we asked; we got a space heater to cover us but only on the final day of our stay. Also, lots of street noise from fast traffic on La Verne.

A wonderful spot!

Family trip before adult children headed back to college. We enjoyed the house so much, it’s perfect. Went to Joshua tree and enjoyed Indian canyons for hiking. Delicious food and fun in downtown Palm Springs. Would love to return again soon! Thank you for a wonderful retreat!

We Love LaVerne and Altamira Vacation Rentals

A+ house, A+ management company

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year in a row our family has rented both the La Verne and Bond houses simultaneously (including extended stays). The pictures do La Verne justice, but of course it is even better being there. I have seen at least one reviewer commenting on street noise as La Verne is a somewhat busy road. So I started by having a wary eye about this. My conclusion is that for us it 1. wasn't overly noisy and 2. it was 100% not an issue for us. As far as the property, what you see is what you get. It's fantastic and well located. Walk through the heart of Twin Palms to get your morning coffee at Koffi or breakfast at Elmers or the ACE Hotel. What we really love too is the whole personalized customer service experience we receive from Altamira, the rental company that manages the property. The set up is seamless but when you do need to call they are always extremely friendly, knowledgeable, flexible when needed and responsive. Their excellent communication and professionalism but in a small company mom & pop friendly kind of way really stands out to me. My elderly parents especially love them as they always need extra help with remote controls, pool heat turn-on/off, etc. Our extended family intends to continue to visit Palm Springs annual. When we do we will likely look at the La Verne and Bond properties first. But whatever we book, it will ALWAYS be at an Altamira managed property. A+ all around!

Outstanding property

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We've been renting different gnomes for three past 8 years in PS and this one is outstanding! The outdoor oasis is difficult to match, the pool steps, the hot tub, the outdoor lounge area!

Loved it!

Loved this place! It has a very cool Palm Springs vibe, from the minute you enter the bright yellow front door to the fun art throughout the house. The house itself was wonderful, we have 3 kids (11, 8 & 4) who had the best time! The home and yard are absolutely beautiful, everything is meticulously maintained. It exceeded our expectations, the pictures online don’t do it justice. If our kids had it their way, we wouldn’t have even left the house. They had endless fun in the pool, which had a large assortment of floaties. Having the casita was a great addition, our older 2 shared the space and it was nice for them to have their own place to escape the heat . Check-in was extremely easy and I would highly recommend. We hope to come back again soon!

Great Home (if You're Not a Light Sleeper)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was well-appointed, nicely-updated, and the pool area was wonderful. I do think, however, this is not the right home for you if you're a light sleeper. It's located on a busy, loud road and we heard every car passing from inside and outside the home. The irony that we were forbidden from playing a little music to drown out the car noise while we ate on the back desk was not lost on us. Our party consisted of three light sleepers, and the road noise kept one or all of us up every night. Even after ear plugs were purchased. Please consider addressing this issue (at least some earplugs on the nightstands?) or noting it in the listing to make renters aware.

Fantastic house with pool in Palm Springs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a fantastic place where our young family spent a week in. The pool is large and sparkling clean. We were glad we paid extra to heat the pool to 88 degrees as it was the perfect temperature for our young kids to swim in. It was a treat to wake up to the beautiful mountain views from the casita and have breakfast by the pool. The house is very well designed with thoughtful touches and we never had to leave while we were there.
