Beautiful home in a perfect location!

I have travelled to the Riviera Maya area multiple times including staying often in Playa del Carmen on 5th Avenue. I decided to try a vacation rental this time and the vacation was so much richer. The home is beautiful and has everything you need to feel at home in paradise. Super close to 5th Avenue, the beach, the Mega, the Walmart, and great small restaurants. The WiFi worked well and the master bed was very comfortable. We even used the charcoal grill one night. This place felt very safe and quiet on a lovely "neighborhood" street. The owner and manager were both very accomodating, even allowing for a late checkout for $35 USD.

Paradise & Excellent Hospitality

This home is a hidden gem within Playa Del Carmen. Chery and Gabby are the kindest people we've ever encountered when renting a vacation home. We were sad that we only stayed 2 nights. We TRULY regret not staying at Casa Abuelita throughout our entire stay in Mexico. First off, the location is amazing. You are surrounded by tropical vegetation, which makes one feel as if they are in a beautiful rainforest. You get the best of both worlds in Casa Abuelita-- a natural setting within an urban community. We were in walking distance of the best resturants we've ever experienced. 5th Avenue and the beach are a short walk away. 5th Avenue is colorful, eccentric, and has great energy. The beach was relaxing and free of seaweed-- the aqua water was amazing! The interior of Casa Abuelita is very charming and spotlessly clean. It is apparent that Cheryl and Gabby aim to please every step of the way. This was my family's first time in Mexico. Cheryl and Gabby's friendliness and kind nature made us feel like we were staying in the home of old friends. We miss them!!!!! Long before we checked in, Cherly was in communication with me, giving me tips and info on how to get around. Please: BOOK, BOOK, BOOK with Casa Abuelita! Staying at this home was the smartest decision we made our entire trip. Create beautiful memories in this home that you will cherish for a lifetime!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING and making our Christmas the best we've ever had!!! We really love you guys and the top notch treatment we recieved.

Lovely Home

My partner, Rick, and I were so pleased with the comforts and amenities of Casa Abuelita. Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short due to growing concerns about the CO-VID virus. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the many amazing places to eat around every corner. We were very pleased to be in a comfortable home rather than in a hotel in such fraught times. We hope to return and continue our vacation there next year.

Very nice accommodations

We very much enjoyed our stay. The main bedroom & bathroom was incredible! Cheryl has thought of everything! From q-tips to shampoo, a fully stocked kitchen, even umbrellas & beach chairs. I would suggest a patio table for the back patio so we could enjoy a quiet night, when we weren’t out on 5th ave. Great location! 10 min walk to the beach & the famous 5th Ave.

Super cozy and clean

The best location, beds are very comfortable and clean. Every time we come to casa abuelita from a long day of exploring its was like coming to a retreat paradise . Beautiful nature spot. Thank you Cheryl and Gabriela for making our stay unforgettable. Definitely will stay here again.

This was a nice suite containing everything we needed for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite was exactly as advertised and was just a short 3 block walk from 5th Avenue shopping and dining. There was a nice breeze every evening which made our relaxing time quite enjoyable. We would not hesitate to return.

Unforgettable stay

Our stay in your home was so homey, quaint and impeccably clean. It is spacious and had everything imaginable. Property is within walking distance to 5th avenue and numerous restaurants and the beach. We have rented numerous homes in many countries and consider your property to be of the highest standards.You are a superhost and would have liked to have met you in person. Magical

This has been the best experience! Cheryl was amazing and the home was everything and more. Close to 5th Ave, and the beach perfect location! The house had everything we needed and everything we did not think we would need but did. Gabriella the home manager helped me every step of the way. I failed to book transport for a few things she handled that and also helped with our day trip to Akumal. Exceptional hothouse home and exceptional host and management. 5 Star stay all the way!

This home was everything and more than what we expected. Very beautifully decorated and comfortable!

We will definitely be back to stay at Casa Abuelita. The entire process was easy. The management was so accommodating and they gave us such great referrals to restaurants and day excursions. The house is a lot bigger than the photos and has great balconies and a lovely garden area and even had a bbq for grilling. We look forward to our return trip to Playa del Carmen. It felt as comfortable as our own home but in the beautiful Tropics.
