Puerto Vallarta Hotel with Pool

"Food was great. Worth booking club level at this resort. Daily breakfast was fresh and lots of choices. Azur and Mond were great for club level! Andres, Carlos, & Pedro for pool service were excellent. Jorge for daily activities was also great. Evening shows are lacking. The Earth Day fire dancing was great. The Mexican Fiesta night would have been great if the Marache band was outside. It was way too loud. Beach was clean and lots of beach chairs to use. Overall, 10 days was too long to just be at the resort. As there are no water sports etc. We stayed at resort and didn't do excursions as it was after the Cartel issues. We wanted to give it more time. The resort is small so great for families and any one older for getting around. Would be nice if they still had the teen club for 12+. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, smaller, affordable resort. "

"The room was good,clean and what I expected. Except there was no hot water for the shower. The breakfast was good. The eggs were fresh and hot. How ever the coffee was only luke warm and I had to wait for it to be made for each of my cups. "

"No balcony, no refrigerator, no safety deposit box in room. When i asked about a balcony room, only reply was , ' there are none ' without even checking "

"This is a small quaint hotel with excellent staff and adequate amenities. It definitely has Mexican charm. The double bed room was large enough and kept clean. The air conditioning worked so well I had to ask for a blanket...no complaints. The pool was clean. The drinks were good. Enough loungers. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner buffet was just okay. The Mexican Fiesta was great but very busy. Generally the other guests were very friendly and made some new friends. The location was great! Walking distance to the Marina and lots of great restaurants within a short Uber ride. If you are looking for a big flashy resort, the Hacienda is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a little tucked away retreat, this is definitely the place!! Would definitely stay here again."

"The poolside seating is really nice, especially the cabanas. I had dinner at the really nice restaurant upstairs and the food there was delicious. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although there was a strong odor of mildew that I complained about and was never completely cleared, the view was beautiful. The food at the buffet was just okay. I saw birds eating directly from the dessert table a few times. Overall it was a good experience. Reasonable prices and friendly staff."

"Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The mixology drink cart and bar provided a great variety of options. The restaurants had excellent food, fresh and tasty. I would avoid the Asian night and highly recommend the gourmet Mexican and Italian themed nights. I really loved this quaint and charming resort with beautiful grounds and gardens."
