“Unser Zimmer war recht klein, wo gefühlt lange keine große Grundreinigung mehr durchgeführt wurde (viel Staub auf den Ablagen und kleine Dreckspritzer an der Badezimmertür). Das Frühstück war hingegen sehr gut. ”

“This is an ancient, historic hotel. Be mindful of the fact that you are staying here more for the character and historical significance then for the comfort. Stairways are small and steep and parking - went available at all - is challenging. That said, however, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our one night stay.”

“Staff generally very supportive and welcoming. Very good breakfast selection and quality with prompt service. Rooms well serviced and comfortable but can be hot with afternoon sun and external noise limits ability to have windows open. ”

“Hotel was ok, clean enough but needs updating. Hot water was very intermittent, I was told it needs to run for 15 mins before getting warm, but I ran it for much longer than that and still had to have cold showers every morning. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Great location and friendly staff. ”

“Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your……
