“Wonderful staff, excellent food, and so central for our visit to Rye.”

“We booked to stay 2 nights, arrived on Friday which was a heatwave day and was told we would get a fan in our room. When there was no fan in the room, we were told they are all allocated out! When questioned the staff, we got attitude and the response was- fine, you can have my fan, I won't have one! The same night it was thunder and lightning so we left the doors open in our room, 3am we got around 30 - 40 wasps fly into our room landing on us! It was horrific. We called reception and 2 people……

“The grounds are stunning with so much potential but it feels very much a work in progress. We used paddle boards on the lake, which was fab but an additional charge on top of a very expensive room. The sauna wasn’t quite up to heat, we stoked the wood burning hot tub for a dip, tried the lake to cool off and the cold plunge was unfortunately empty. The room was nice and clean. I booked the junior suite but ended up getting a suite. It didn’t feel any more special than a deluxe room elsewhere……

“Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Every member of staff we met was super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was great with a fantastic view of the sea. Breakfast was really nice and great view of the sea also We would stay again, no hesitation!”

“Guestling Hall is een traditioneel Engelse Hall. Personnel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We konden eerder inchecken wat super fijn was. We verbleven daar een nacht op doorreis naar de Eurotunnel.”

“Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax.”

“The poor impression started when we arrived 40 minutes earlier than the book in time of 3pm to find reception shuttered and a sign on the door saying This is not a public Toilet. After traveling for over 100 miles we were hoping to have a coffee or maybe a refreshing glass of lemonade but no chance of that. So we left to find somewhere more welcoming. We came back an hour later after finding a very nice place in Camber to take our money. My wife and I are both in our seventies and we're told our……

“A lovely setting unfortunately full of golfers but as it's a golf club it is to be expected 😀 We had a car accident the day before we were due to leave and the lovely receptionist Anna was so helpful with giving us a free extended checkout time. The room was lovely, I wasn't overly overwhelmed by the menus available but the breakfast choices were excellent. All in all we had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend Dale Hill”
