"Claudine was very responsive to all communications. The apartment was very clean and had nearly everything we needed. The view from the apartment is spectacular. The only downside is that it is not an easy place to find and the road to the apartment is very narrow. Once you have found it, all is well. "

"Ideal location for vast views of Lake Como with quiet evenings and starlit skies. Especially enjoyed the infinity pool and hot tub each day. The backyard is landscaped very nicely, really makes you feel at home."

"Lovely hotel and grounds. We had a room on the 3rd floor with two balconies affording us stellar views of the mountains and lake. The rearward facing balcony was quiet and peaceful. We through the doors open and had a lovely breeze all evening. The pool is lovely and there were plants of lounge chairs for reading and relaxing + two showers. We don’t eat at the hotel but great coffee is just down the street and there are a few restaurants in either direction. Beds we comfy, albeit twins. Altogether a lovely property."

"The villa was exactly as described, clean and very well equipped with and thoughtful extras like coffee and water and soap. Beautifully decorated, every bedroom is equally nice, all with good views of the lake. We gave up trying to park in the garage as the road is so narrow, but could park overnight for free outside and for 5, a short walk south. Wonderful view from the balcony with the sun in the morning. There is a small stony beach to the right of the small harbour for lake swimming.Colonno is away from the main tourist hustle and as such we found we needed to travel to a shop or restaurant. There are not many pavements, so walking is not an option and parking is difficult to find. The slow ferry service from Colonno only left once a day, but worked well for us to travel up to Bellagio, Mennagio, Varenna, and Bellano on different days ( "free circulation" ticket for 15 a day, allows you to get on any ferry or bus.) Booking and finding the villa was easy. The host answered all my questions very quickly when asked. I paid and send passport photos via a link to the hosts website rather than through Vrbo.Overall, it was a really lovely villa, and I would highly recommend it."
