“Salida Inn and Monarch Suites- was half the price of other low to medium motels in the area, including Buena Vista and Leadville as well as Salida. So I expected it to be not so great- but we were pleasantly surprised. I cannot speak for the "Monarch Suites"- they did not look too impressive from the outside- like mini cabins in the parking lot. But we stayed in a regular room at the Inn and it was very nice in every way- clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, good location, very friendly staff. ”
