We have family in Montrose and spent Christmas week visiting them, and this home was the perfect place to stay.The location is fantastic, with beautiful views of the golf course and the San Juan Mountains—we enjoyed some absolutely spectacular sunsets. “We booked this property for multiple nights, but unfortunately the host was misleading about the reservation. Instead of being able to stay in one room for our entire booking, we were told we had to check in and out every single day. This was never communicated beforehand, and it made the stay unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient.When we arrived, the first room we were given had a strong smell of smoke, even though it was supposed to be non‑smoking. It was obvious someone had smoked in there……

“Clean property with large rooms, high ceilings, and an incredible view. The playroom attached to the kids' room was a huge hit with our 4- and 6-year-olds! The hot tub was clean and features a great view, and the fire pit was fun to spend an evening around. Overall an excellent place to stay for families with super easy access to the national park and to all the Estes Park activities, with about a 7-minute drive to the 2 parking lots downtown. We will definitely be staying here again.”

“My husband and I live three hours drive away. We came to Craig to visit adult children and grandchildren. We chose this VRBO because it slept so many people and has so many things to do, pool, game room etc. We were looking for a place to rent to ask the other two families of our children in other states to come Next year to all be together at one time. We’ve decided that it will not work out. ”
