Cozy Casita

My husband and I wanted to visit OB dog Beach and this place was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be tight if you had additional guests. We loved the little fenced in yard and propane gas fire table outside. The casita is shaded by large trees and stays cool with the fans and ocean breeze. The property management company left us a special note and the place was very clean. We hope to return!

Small, incomplete, clean

We were surprised that there was no table inside to eat on. After we complained, one arrived which made our stay more comfortable. Sofa outside and inside not comfortable. Incomplete kitchen baking pans etc. BBQ not working. We loved the proximity to the dog beach. We were only 3 cottages from the beach. If you are planning on eating out most of the time, this is a good fit.

Great location, very cozy.

Walking distance to many coffee shops and dining spots. Walking distance to the beach. Then only a 10-15 minute drive to most attractions in the San Diego area.

Our dogcation

This annual trip is primarily for our dogs. With dog beach a mere 1/2 block away, it is perfect. Parking can be very tricky.

Perfect beach bungalow

We had a lovely little weekend at the beach here! Two friends, one slept on the sofa. It’s a tight space, so definitely not more than two people (and we had a small dog). Kitchen was well-equipped for simple cooking and coffee. Bed was comfy. Bathroom is adequate—toilet is a little small and crowded into the corner, but you make it work. Lovely fenced in yard for the dog. A 5 minute walk to dog beach and lots of really yummy and dog-friendly restaurants within an easy walk. It’s much quieter than Pacific Beach (which I loved), but if you’re looking for a more “party” atmosphere, this might not be the spot for you. Other than planes, it was very quiet. We’ll definitely be back!

Dog Vacay

3 humans and 2 dogs was a little bit of a squeeze, but it worked perfect. Spent most of our days at the beach and local restaurants. This was a perfect spot to crash in the evenings. The front yard was great, and the house was cozy. Would definitely stay again! 👍🐶🌊

Great Vacation

We had great weather and our Aussie Shepheard enjoyed the backyard after a long day at the beach. Parking was challenging as it was 4th of July holiday when we arrived. But there after was no problem. Needed grilling tools and wish the patio umbrella worked. All in all we enjoyed the quite location close to dog beach. We would rent again. Thank You

The property was great. The house is very small. Pack light-the storage for clothes minimal to non existent. Kitchen & bath is very functional. Bedroom is tight & the bed is comfy. Outdoor space is spacious and delightful. Location can’t be beat!

Not Very Good

The property is very small. Only had ceiling lights (no lamps, not even in the bedroom). No table at which to eat a meal. Major problem with the sewage system. A strong sewage odor in the bathroom that permeated the entire site. Maintenance person tried to remedy the problem, but was unsuccessful. He did manage to move us to another unit, which was very nice. We appreciated him doing this.

Short getaway

My husband, my grandson and my self stayed for a short getaway with our dog. We picked this vrbo because of its great location to the beach and the dog beach. It is very small and until my grandson arrived it was fine for the 2 of us, but with a 3 year old running around it was a bit crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

This little house was perfect for us and our 2 small dogs. It's small but very comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and yard and the short walk to the beach was ideal for us.

The absolute best find for a low key vacay

My husband and I just wanted a quick getaway walking distance to the beach. This place is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything. You honestly don’t need a car the entire time you’re here. The yard was perfect for our doggo Rosie and the place is walking distance to the beach which was incredible. We had the best time and would highly recommend this place.

Bar b que loaded with grease so burned up steaks . T V went in and out + we couldn't get local channels . Oven wouldn't lite . Left 1 day early . Notified La Jolla rental of problems got no response . Very dissatisfied!

Cute place in a perfect location!

We spent most of our time at the dog beach with our pup and the location was perfect for going back and forth. The little yard made for a perfect landing for all our beach stuff and the little fire pit was nice to relax by at night. Perfect for a couple or a couple and a dog!

Wonderful!!

This place is very cute and cozy!! Had a mix up with pet fees and management addressed it quickly and made it right. With no hassle. I’ll 100% be back for another get away here. Everything was great
