Comfortable and peaceful

The home was extremely clean and comfortable. There was everything in the kitchen that you needed. The labeling of all the switches was very helpful. Even though we were in a flight pattern the home was very quiet.

Fabulous cottage

Cottage was fabulous. Location less than a block from the ocean. And had a parking space. We've stayed in different locations in Beach before and parking had always been a hurdle.

Great Bungalow

We were very happy with our stay. The bungalow is very close to all the restaurants and shops (about 2 blocks) and close to the beach. All within walking distance. It appears to be newly renovated and was very clean. Off the street parking was a bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome cottage!

This is an immaculately clean, comfortable, well appointed cottage located in a great area a very short walk to the beach. The deck has comfortable furniture and was a great spot to read and take naps! We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it!

Great San Diego location

We really liked the unit and how close it was to the ocean and restaurants. We have always had good communication with VRBO but were disappointed in Vacasa. The washing machine was broken when we arrived on Wednesday. It had a note taped to it. I called Vacasa on Thursday morning and they said it would be repaired the next afternoon. We left fully one week later and had never gotten any communication from Vacasa.

Fabulous rental

I stayed in this property for one month!!! This place was absolutely perfect!!! I love the closeness to the beach and to the town of Ocean Beach!!! This 1bed, 1bath has a huge deck that has ocean views. You're within walking distance to everything. I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Holiday Stay

Had initial problems just getting into the place. The electronic lock didn’t work so 25 minutes spent in contact with Vacasa finally got us in (lock never did work). That was after we had to wedge our rented SUV into the incredibly small parking spot behind the property. We actually had to take our rental back to get a smaller vehicle since this one wouldn’t fit. That should be better defined

Ocean Beach

We are from hot Oklahoma and this was not our first time traveling to San Diego. We had a few requirements on this trip. I wanted to stay in something close to the water, with a designated parking spot, and air conditioning was a deal breaker for my husband. This property has all 3!!! It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and other shopping. The deck was our favorite place, as you can see the ocean. We will be coming back for sure!!

Nice house near the beach

Heat in the living room did not work. Good response from Ralph who brought out a space heater. HVAC guy fixed it for one day and then it was out for 2 more days.

Lovely bungalow but...

This little house was immaculate and very close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Unfortunately, it is right in the path of the San Diego Airport - so, every 5-8 minutes a plane would fly over VERY low and VERY loud. This went on all day until 2:45am. This should have been disclosed in the description of the house and the location. If you need to sleep, this is not the house for you.

Great home and location. Skimpy on some basic items

Loved this home. Great stay and great location. A few things to consider bringing yourself for comfort and convenience…bring shampoo/conditioner body wash and hand soap. They provide them but all in powder form in biodegradable pods. Left dandruff and itchy skin. Ended up buying our own. Pillows were awful. So flat and no support. Left feedback that I don’t prefer to lay my head on a sheet of paper. They were literally that bad. Also is you have room I. Your bag bring towels. For 4 nights we (2 people) had two body towels, one wash cloth and one hand towel. Again…great location just lacking some basic things.

Beautiful unit, Terrible Property Management!

We were unable to access the unit at check-in due to a broken lock. Have had a terrible time with the property management company (Vacasa), lack in communication or customer service. Spent hours on the phone during our vacation trying to get assistance. Miserable experience. Two weeks later and still no responses and no reimbursement as promised. Wish I had not booked this property.

Charming place in quiet location

Great place for a couple in Ocean Beach. Easy walk to restaurants, Azucar bakery, Pizza Port, and other spots. Full-size laundry. Parking is a bonus - best for smaller cars. Kitchen has everything.

Beautifully decorated, well-maintained home just steps from the beach!

This home truly has everything you need to enjoy a week in San Diego. Whether you plan on spending a lot of time in the home or going out exploring, it meets any and all of your needs. It comfortably accommodates two with a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfortable furniture, and a spacious layout. The home is also conveniently located about 10-15 minutes away from nearby restaurants and attractions. And just a block from the beach! I would definitely recommend Beach Park Getaway. Lovely rental with views of the ocean

The rental was great for a self catering stay, it had everything you would need, all cooking appliances, utensils, crockery etc..We really liked that the small things were thought of, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, sponges, soap, dishwashing tablets etc. Everything was well stocked and clean. We loved that we could see the sea from the lounge window. You could be at Ocean Beach within 2 minutes walk and all the shops and restaurants! The outside of the apartment let's it down a little as it has 2 broken chairs and the covers need cleaning on the lounging cushions. However it didn't stop us using the outside space. We would definitely stay here again.

SHORT GETAWAY

Home is clean on a quiet street. Beach is just half a block away and close to all the action of Ocean Beach! Highly recommended!
