"We had a short 2 day stay in Sanibel, and Tarpon Tale was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Easily walkable to some dining, shopping, and nice beaches, and the complimentary bikes give you the ability to explore the whole island while leaving the car parked. The extra details of this small independent hotel (bikes, shell-washing stations, fire pit area) are a great match for the small town, friendly feel of the island. Highly recommend"

"We stayed at Island Inn on Sanibel Island for 2 nights just before Christmas when it was not so busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room is nice and cozy, with a fully functional kitchen and spacious bathroom We love the beachfront location, very convenient for the family. Free beach chairs, umbrellas, grillsll, and beach toys, you name it! Free parking in designated spaces, one for each unit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered a tide chart at check-in for you to plan shelling activities, LOL. In my opinion we had the best beach for collectingseashells right in front of the hotel. "
