“The property had a lake view and the inside was dated but clean. As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and……

“Lovely lakeside cottage. Perfect for a cozy and quiet retreat!”

“Had the most amazing weekend spending time with family. The house was perfect for all. Living room is hug for entering young kids when the weather wouldn't cooperate. Sunsets were breathtaking. What a gem on Lake Seneca ”

“This is a nice enough property. I needed three bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. That’s hard to find. There were several issues: We paid a 150 cleaning fee. We were asked to put our used bed linens and towels in a provided laundry basket. This begged the question: if I didn’t put a towel or sheet in the basket, would housekeeping just leave it as clean? The house was clean from a cursory standpoint. The outside needed to be cleaned and tidied. The windowsills inside were buggy and……

“Amanda was great as a host. She always responded to my messages. House was clean and cute with plenty of winery’s near by. Nice to unwind in hot tub after long day out. If bringing bigger boat very hard to turn and move. Should have asked space parking before hand. Only one tv in living room but if busy, then don’t need. Also if you want to make s’mores bring sticks for them. Overall pleasant weekend in cloud wine cottage.”

“Only issue w/ the stay: Photos of the lake are from just outside of the park that is about 1/10 of a mile walk down a hill. Not visible from any part of the house/ property as the photo implies. My own fault for not reading into "by the lake" not "on the lake."”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay on Seneca Lake! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the beautiful lake views each morning and ending the evenings by the water made our trip unforgettable. The location was good—close to wineries, and charming towns, yet peaceful and quiet. The host was responsive and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out. It was a perfect spot for our pup to enjoy as well! We would……

“One of the nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, beautifully decorated, convenient location, everything we were hoping for. Bonus for the outdoor seating areas, dock, sunset, and surprise snacks left for us by the host. Great experience and highly recommended. Thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“Our group had a wonderful time at the lake house! The house was immaculate - seriously the cleanest house I’ve ever visited! Candace was easy to get in touch with and the amenities were fantastic. I would highly recommend staying at the lake house. We will be visiting again next year!!”

“Family friendly, perfect for family of 4. Quiet area. Rented last year and returned this year. We love this property for a weekend away”

“The property was as advertised with no negative surprises. The kayaks were an added bonus & used by all. The house was very clean & comfortable for the entire family (6). The location was perfect for visiting the many vineyards, Watkins Glen & Hammondsport. I would rate this a 5 of 5 experience.”

“Excellent lake property.”

“We had a great stay at this property. It was perfect for a long weekend getaway for my family. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Great location close to both Geneva and Penn Yan.”

“Wonderful location- convenient to Penn Yan, Geneva, and Watkins Glen - and cozy, welcoming house. The lake is gorgeous, and not overly busy with boats. Spent a week there with two kids and our dog. Nancy was a delight and very responsive to communications. House was tidy and clean, has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and air conditioning. Highly recommend!”

“We just loved the little yellow house on the lake. The house had everything you could ask for. It was perfect for our vacation. The neighbors were warm and welcoming as well. We would choose this again and again.”

“Cottage was very nice. Great set up .”

“The house itself is small, but fit five people very comfortably. Easy access to the lake. The water depth is very shallow for quite far from the dock. Easy to walk out very far (slippery rocks... Bring water shoes). Kitchen well stocked with supplies. Beds comfy. Queen and twin in one room. Queen in 2nd room. Each room has a separate a/c which was great for our different age groups. Washer dryer included. Beautiful screened in porch. 15 min from grocery stores. 2 kayaks and pfds……

“Thr property was ok. It was a beautiful lake side place, but there was no hot water shower on the first floor & no shampoo, no soap, no conditioner. All the containers were empty.”
