Everything was great from front of house to housekeeping, however in our room, the shower was situated right next to the toilet so all activities in the toilet was loud and clear. This was rather embarrassing.

I’m so glad we stayed at the Mercure Ambassador hotel. It was conveniently located: close to the subway, shopping, food, and cafes! Hongdae is a very busy area, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We had an issue with our air conditioning but the staff offered a room change and free drinks to compensate. They were so friendly, and the hotel was very clean and breakfast was good. We would definitely stay again!

The hotel location is in the heart of Hongdae and a short walk from the metro. The room is slightly smaller than expected but very manageable for two people. Expect to hear performers (singers) late into the night from your room.
