"Enjoyed everything except the price."

"Clean and comfortable. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice bar and a very good restaurant. Staff was very professional at all levels. Minor complaint is that the room had things like towels, coffee pot, tissues, etc. . . all stored on bottom shelves just above ground level. I am tall, 6 ft 1. It was difficult to bend down and figure out where everything was and how to make a cup of coffee. I did not like this design. Also, no spare blankets. Otherwise, very nice hotel."

"Clean and recently updated rooms with beautiful decor! Dinner at Eats was a bit cold and small portion size but okay. Free non-alcoholic drinks in casino. Such warm and welcoming staff - very friendly. Lots of parking. Can see the racetrack next door from certain rooms - cool to see the horses warming up! Separate smoking area within casino is a plus. "

"The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. It is secure and convenient, so I think it is worth it, though a better rate would be appreciated. In a hotel you will always have noise from the heat pumps and ventilation, and if you are on the back side you might also have some noise from the garage. On the front side you might have street noise. But overall it was not overly noisy. Just mentioning it so a visitor can be advised and maybe ask in advance for one or the other. "
