Edinburgh St George's West Church Hotels

"Yotel has very clean rooms. The physical building is very nice and it's in a good location, walkable distance to everything. However, it does not have memory foam beds as listed. They are the old spring beds and very uncomfortable. The room has only one small stool to sit on. There is no workstation or table to sit at. There is no where to unpack your bag as there are only a few hangers for your clothes. No drawers to put anything in so I ended up with my open suitcase in the middle of the floor, which is limited space. There is no coffee or tea pot in the room. The breakfast is buffet style with a hot pot of eggs, sausages, beans, etc. They also had croissants and other pastries, as well as cereal and yogurt. While the selection sounds good, the breakfast was just okay. I was not impressed. The staff at this hotel is what makes the difference. They were all kind and helpful. I would not stay again because of the uncomfortable bed. However, I appreciate the staff and how clean the room was. "

"What needs to be said before anything else is that the staff here were amazing. Every single person I spoke to was genuinely lovely. My room was was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised. The mini kitchenette was a great addition. The bed was comfy, shower lovely and powerful, and the happy hour down in the lobby sitting space was a lovely way to relax before dinner. The Resident is room only, but they offer some lovely discounts on a great wee variety of local restaurants, cafes and bars. A fantastic location, right in the centre of Edinburgh with great bus routes and less than ten minutes to the tram. "
