“Beautiful location”

“Clean room, modern vibe, digital access, near shops and attractions. Perfect little spot to be cozy enough for sleep/recharge but not keep you from exploring (in the best ways!). Staff was kind and helpful. Cute fire pit and nice sauna (I didn’t have a chance to use either on this stay, but def a nice touch). Easy checkin/checkout. Great place to stay while in the area.”

“Rooms were on the end where kids could run around after a long day on the road. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hot coffee in lobby was very much appreciated to fill our travel mugs before leaving.Kids enjoyed the apples provided in the lobby with the other fruit and bars.”

“Technically a few miles outside Munising but still convenient to everything. The hotel is well maintained and clean with nicely appointed rooms with plenty of space. There is no elevator for the second floor rooms so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground floor room ahead of time. Morning breakfast area is very nice and you won’t go hungry! Staff is pleasant and very accommodating! Our go-to stay when visiting the part of the Michigan U.P.!”

“Nothing unique except the horrible shower”

“We were assigned a room in the old motel building (separate from the main building) which I didn’t even know existed when making the reservation because it’s barely visible in the background of one of the exterior pictures. Fortunately it was updated, clean and the beds were comfortable. The bath/shower could use some additional updating though. The shower head was small and lacked water pressure. I was thankful I didn’t have to wash my long hair as it would’ve taken a lot of time and work to……

“Clean room; comfortable beds; helpful, friendly staff; parking right in front of the room; one-story facility; nice, powerful hair dryer; sufficient toiletries; large bath towels; nice shower; ice machine works; coffee available in lobby (as well as coffee maker in room). Only down side for us was no breakfast provided.”

“The rooms are poorly soundproofed and shaded, we got bitten by mosquitoes at night. The servers are kindly and friendly, but they don’t even sever hot water. ”

“The room is clean, and good sized. We got a suite. There was a tall table with barstool size chairs. We thought it would be perfect for playing cards, but the chairs were too high for the table. I am average size and sitting on the chair couldn’t fit my legs under the table. It was weird. The beds were extremely firm. My husband said they were terrible, and he didn’t sleep much. If they did a few upgrades, it would be great.”

“Simple, budget friendly, great location, had most of what I needed, minimum necessities. Didn't have a good place in the room for clothing or to put a suitcase or bag; only 1 hanger, and it was for pants. TV was very small. No ventilation in the bathroom. Next to party house, sounded loud and violent at about 3am.”

“The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to……

“The water in the shower turned cold after about 2 minutes and the tub was very slow to drain! The sink faucet also needed to be worked on! The check in clerk George was very helpful after the clerk who checked us in messed up the reservation!! She never checked my ID and got us confused with someone else! We were charged too much and George was able to credit my account! Location was great!”
