「The location on Lake Superior and near the trail to Lake of the Clouds was excellent. It was nice having a restaurant in the hotel. We tried walleye, which we've never had before. The staff were helpful, and the room and hotel were clean.」

「You WILL never find better staff anywhere. The hotel was so clean, welcoming, beds comfortable, quiet, and accommodating. It’s like home. Heidi, at front desk, was beyond tremendous! She went out of her way with everything we needed or didn’t even know we needed. She even made reservations for another upcoming stay saving me the hassle of searching and booking online. Quote “ We want everyone to be welcomed, comfortable, and know we appreciate their staying with us”. Well, she certainly did...
