"My daughters, 11 & 14, and I enjoyed watching the river rush by from the kitchen and sitting area in the quaint cabin. Plenty of light, a cozy loft, and a kitchen with amenities made it a perfect base camp for our spring ski trip."

"We stayed at a quiet and beautiful place with very friendly staff who prepared a nice breakfast. Whenever some items ran out, they promptly cooked more. It was our first time interacting with the staff, and the experience felt entirely different from staying at a big hotel. Even though the room didn't have a TV, we still liked it very much. Since it's not far from Lake Tahoe, we plan to stay here again during the ski season. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting a group of elderly people from Reno and the Bay Area who regularly meet at this lodge every year, with their next gathering scheduled for this August. They enjoyed hiking and chatting together, which further underscored the quality of this lodge. "

"This was a fantastic house for our group of six to occupy for a week of skiing. Close enough where you could walk to town. And close enough to hit several ski resorts in under 30 min. House was clean, comfortable and well maintained."

"The oven has been broken for months according to the reviews. A staple of a large family cabin, this spoiled our cooking plans. Many of the outlets in the bathrooms are touchy or don't work at all. The entryway was dark, creepy and junky with a panel leading to the crawlspace open and who knows what under there. If you are coming, locate the address on a map then find the back of the house where the garage is and identify the roads that get you there, because you CANNOT park and unload from the main road--the stairs are broken and the terrain up to the house is a steep hill. They do NOT warn you about that. Many windows do not have screens so you can't open them--too many bugs. As many people have mentioned, this is a neat house with a nice view and a lot of potential, but they don't seem interested in doing any upgrades, so if you like staying in a kinda clean but shabby house from 1979 this is the place for you."
