"Unique old hotel . Bathroom very small for a deluxe room , only a double bed which we thought was odd for a deluxe room .
Nice toiletries and tea/coffee available. Bedding good quality. Very friendly staff .
Noisy location but was a main road so expected . Should have asked for a room at the back .
Would stay again , great location for Vinyards !"
"Probably the most quirky place I have stayed, ( except Frog Manor in Cheshire which I think is now closed ) fab relaxed atmosphere, great English wines, the staff are very helpful 👍"
"Wonderful historic Inn in the heart of Rye. Breakfast was top notch and the Inn was splendid. Would stay again. We also enjoyed the bar, the lounges and all the history."
"Beautiful property that makes visiting sissinghurst a breeze. Dinner options nearby are limited, but if you request the charcuterie plate it is perfect!"
"We wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and that’s what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walks… it was all there."

Delightful pet-friendly oast with enclosed garden on Kent/Sussex border near Rye
10/10 Excellent
"Stone Green Oast is at the top of our list of properties we have stayed at in England. Lovely setting, and Amanda has gone out of her way to make it homey and welcoming. Easy day trips to Canterbury, Rye and the many famous National Trust properties in the area. "
"Nice place, perfect for a weekend. Good decor and in good condition. Confusion on whether a parking permit needed displaying (it didn’t) so waster about 30 mins trying to get past the Vrbo bots. Once we got a human all was cleared up. However it would be good if the manual were to be updated. Bed comfy. Seating for the dressing table to do makeup was a kind of beanbag which was a struggle and the lighting was tricky as there was very little natural light in the bedroom. Kitchen well equipped except for no microwave. "
