「Really great old timey motel on the outskirts of Altoona. The kind of family owned and run place that used to be prevalent before the rise of the corporate hotel industry. The room decor may be a little dated and "throwback" but the place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, including super soft pillows, there's ample parking and really the whole experience was top notch. 10/10 recommended.」

「Property is dated but well maintained. Our room was recently refurnished, with a very comfortable new bed. And fresh clean sheets. but we the walls were thin and we heard our neighbor’s tv all night until we got up at 6 am There was coffee in the office every morning at 6 but only powder creamer, not real milk. The manager Chris was very friendly and helpful. the motel honored my special request for extra blankets.」

「It was a normal place. Not good enough but not bad still. The front desk is a nice person. 」

「The property was clean and modern. Would help to have better road signage and road entrance markings. The road side is very loud with trucks using brake retarders early in the morning. Should not be allowed in small towns and rural areas in my view. It is nice to have a clean and well maintained hotel for frequent family visits.」

「The decor is a bit outdated, but it was clean. It wasn't very expensive when all the other hotels were charging triple because of a Penn State event. So if you don't care about modern amenities and aesthetics, this place fits the bill. I was worried when I booked it, but I would stay here again.」
