“Very quiet comfy stay”

“I got to my room and was told there was no breakfast available, i checked into my room and slept soundly”

“This is a truly excellent hotel which we thoroughly recommend. Traditional welcome, clean and comfortable, first class breakfasts and great dinner menus. Comfortable and well appointed bedrooms. All the staff very friendly including the owners. Within walking distance of Sidmouth town and the Sea. Can't wait for our next visit”

“Sub travel lodge. Worn out, dirty and £17 for a glass of wine and a bottle of beer, food is frozen brakes brothers style.. only saving grace was that the staff try hard. Owners and management should be ashamed that they make their staff operate in a such a hovel of a place. Premier Inn, while basic is 1000% nicer (and cleaner). No aircon, grubby room, dirty shower, grubby common areas, ordinary food, one ironing board in the whole place, broken lift, wet carpet in room and room smelt of cat……

“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. ”

“Not so keen on breakfast”

“Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”
