「This is the perfect location for a beautiful and serene vacation. We enjoyed eating on the deck with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The beach is quiet and sandy which makes for a wonderful morning and evening walk. We were so thankful to be able to bring our dog with us. The cottage was clean and had an upNorth feel. My husband and sons enjoyed a few games of pool in the basement. We would definitely rent here again. 」

「From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group.」

「The Mint was very clean. The queen bed upstairs was very hard as others stated. Maybe a mattress topper needed. Sheets and towels need replacing. 」

「This small cottage is cozy, clean and a bit off the beaten path. The scenery is absolutely stunning and it is not too far away from any activity but far enough away that you feel completely at peace. I have stayed at many B&Bs and this is by far one of the best. So clean and beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again!」

「The primary stand out for this home was it's central location for Harbor Springs and Petoskey and the beeches they have the offer! We had a large group with multiple little ones. The bedrooms offer plenty of space for everyone and the main level was wide open and laid out perfectly to allow adults to relax while kids could spread out and play. 」

「John and Dianne are wonderful hosts. We ve returned for 4 years running. The cabin is simple and clean. Pet friendly which is why we return. Little things like -the mints and the Coffee / simple kitchen provisions well stocked. The little outer room lets us keep the bikes out of the weather. Close enough for a day over the bridge --and a simple drive to H. Springs or over to Petoskey. We LOVE the Petoskey Brewery and the North West Bike trail. Chances are very good we'll be back.」

「Great location, easy to get to many local destinations. There is a great pie shop a few steps down the road. Beds were comfortable and home had lots of room for groups.」

「The Cottage was not as clean as years past, and maintenance is also slipping. But, the Freshwater team was quick to fix everything. Overall a fun, relaxing week.」
