「This place was so conveniently located, and was such a comfortable place which welcomed us back after a tiresome day. The Roost was exceptionally clean, and all amenities were useful and aided in the comfort of this location. We will definitely be coming back!」

「Only hiccup was that Apple Maps sent us up a long gravel road to the south of the rental. It was a decent incline. It’s better to come from the north side of the rental. Also, there are (2) rentals on the property, be sure to go the correct property.」

「The host was great and the cabin was so cozy and well taken care of. The only complaint I have was the hot tub. That was the main reason for going and we did not end up using it because it did not smell good at all. It definitely needs to be taken care of better. Other than that it was a great place to stay.」

「Guest lounge usually in use by staff, who also treat guest loading/unloading area as their private parking lot. Beds are hazardous, maid service sketchy. What's not to like?」

「I couldn't eat anything they offered and it's not worth the price for a broken ice machine on the 2nd floor and u have to walk down to the 1st floor to get ice so it kinda sucked」

「Host was great and communication was good leading up to and through our stay. We enjoyed the stay and the amenities. I would say the internet was a letdown, and with its current state isnt really advertisable as internet, it was so slow, you can maybe call and text with it since cell service is poor, but the 5G Tmobile internet was almost unusable, 1 bar of signal the whole stay. In some of the materials I recieved before the stay it referenced Starlink internet, which that was probably decent....

「Every thing was in order. Hosts thought of everything i might need. Great view, quiet, peaceful, and friendly animals were great. I have been underwhelmed and disappointed in the past but not this time. The best value for money ever!」

「The hot tub was a great addition to the cozy quarters. The heat is the fire and heaters, which weren’t on and it was very cold when we arrived. It warmed up quickly after these were going.」

「This place was so great! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fireplace made the whole place so cozy, we were worried coming up in January with all the glass that it would be chilly, but it was nice and warm. We had so much fun looking at the sheep and meeting the farm dogs. We always look forward to going back after our day of hikes. I would definitely stay here again! 」
