"Check-in was super easy, room was very clean. Love that they are pet friendly. Easy to walk downtown for food and shopping, and just down the street is an Albertson’s grocery store. Only downside is that currently (Sept 2024) a lot of the workers that are doing road work on Hwy 101 between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara are staying here, and they go in and out with the large semi-trucks and trailers. It’s noisy with the loud engines and the beeping when they back up. "

"Room was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Only complaint, besides the freeway noise which obviously can’t be helped on that side of the hotel, is that the very light bedspread was insufficient and I would’ve appreciated an extra blanket or comforter in the room that I could use."

"This hotel is decent considering it's an older facility, but parking for a large vehicle (camper van) was difficult. One of the staff persons was very helpful, and another wasn't. It 's conveniently located to lots of restaurants, stores, etc. Also, it's very easy to get around in Santa Barbara using public transportation, and this hotel is right on the bus line. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there."

"Overall the motel is very cute ! The rooms have excellent amenities including: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, extra towels, air conditioning and heat, cable and wifi. The Wi-Fi was very slow so if you will be needing good internet connection then I would suggest you keep this in mind when booking at this motel. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.
