"Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed here now twice and we prefer the main building as it's more convenient for us with a child. We will come back in the future hopefully."

"Unsalted butter in the restaurant tastes like Lard, could do with a choice. Breakfast really good but very expensive, as were the bar prices. "

"This was a night away for my wife and I. We thought the facilities and room were perfect for us. The hotel was in good repair but retained its period charm. The staff could not have been more helpful. Service in the restaurant was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food served up in the evening didn't quite live up to the high quality of the rest of our stay, but it was perfectly pleasant."

"Lovely overnight stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and comfortable. We made use of the leisure facilities which were (understandably) busy for a Saturday afternoon, but nice and relaxing. Can't comment on the restaurant as we decided to eat in town."
