「Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The only thing is that if you leave something on your bed, the housekeeper is not allowed by the local law to touch it.」

「Clean and comfortable room especially after a long day at the local attractions. The staff was extremely welcoming and made our stay that much better - a true testament to southern hospitality. Their breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve had at a hotel.」

「The tavern rooms are a completely immersive experience within walking to all things Colonial Williamsburg. The pool/fitness center is off site at the check in (about .2 of a mile) so may not feel as welcoming but worth it if you don’t mind walking. So much history! The grounds are beautifully kept and inviting areas throughout the grounds. We would love to come back and wish we had a longer stay!」

「Check in staff during the evening was great. Staff in the morning was rude. Not bed bugs but other bugs like moths and spiders in room and bed. Bathroom shower was not clean and neither were some of the blankets on the beds. Not sure if it was tbe humidity but with the AC blasting it still was hot and humid inside the room and smelled like pee :(. Breakfast was fine and appreciated.」

「The motel was clearly built some time ago but has been considerably upgraded and was very nice. I didnt arrive until late at night, had a parking spot right in front of my room. The lady who was at the front desk was great - a problem with the key lock on my room was taken care of quickly. The room was very clean and quiet and I got a good night's sleep. I got an early morning wake up call right on time. I'd be happy to stay again - thanks.」

「The rooms were generous in size but the furnishing were thrift store old and dingy. This place needs a full renovation and remodeling!」
