The property was below what other margaritaville hotels are.
We had a 4 hour delay in check in. Room wasn’t ready till 8:10 pm and we arrived at 4 pm
Drinks were expensive and automatic 18% tip. So servers didn’t work to please as they were getting tipped no matter what!
Obviously didn’t have the staff for a busy holiday weekend

You need to ask for a cleaning service and even toilet paper. Food was good, Location was great! they are super friendly

Really nice Marriott in downtown KC. Walking distance to the Power and Light district. Went for the World Cup 2026 Fan Fest. Was a$10 Uber ride.
Room is very clean, comfortable, and good views. Nice firm bed. Walk-in shower with good soaps and water pressure.
The lobby area has great bar area with a huge 30feet screen for watching sports, and dozens more TVs all around the area.
The fitness room is extremely well stocked with lots of weight and cardio equipment.
Only missing a weigh scale, and could use a sauna!
Parking is extra at $35 per night, but allows for multiple entries and exits.
Overall a great hotel in a good location.

The check in time is listed as 4pm, but in very small print down below it is 4-6pm. They do not have an electonic key pad check in like every other place we have stayed. If you miss this window they may let you check in later but can (and did for us) cancel our entire weekend stay and they kept all of our money. They would not even let us check in the next day.
