「Staff were very good, we arrived quite late at night because of the train mishap. It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious. A wonderful memorable stay will go again definitely!」

「Excellent location, very friendly people.」

「Great position in old town Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome Comfortable bed and great shower and a very tasty full English breakfast Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area」

「Less than a mile and quite scenic walk along the canal to the train station. Not many shops are open past 1800 most days including weekends so food and shopping options are a bit limited. Overall nice place to stay.」

「It was too overpriced for the overall quality. At least it had a bed and a bathroom with toilet. However, pricing is ridiculous for what it offers.」

「No where to cool down and almost fell on to the floor because of heatstroke.」

「The staff were top tier when it comes to taking the initiative to provide help and information, also very friendly and approachable. The included breakfast, were good quality and had many options to choose from. Location is well connected with bus stops and tube stations within 5 mins walking distance.」

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the train station and extremely convenient. However, the room condition and housekeeping fell short of expectations: The curtains could not be closed properly, affecting both privacy and light blockage. The floor mat near the entrance and bathroom was torn/damaged. The bathrobes in the wardrobe...

「convenient location; room a bit small」

「Arrived London early at 8 am am via international flight ….Waited for a few hours before getting the rooms we booked, despite seeing many people checking out early in the morning. While waiting for the rooms, we visited the restaurant at the lobby for buffet breakfast for 21GBP but was told that if I booked the night before, it would only cost 18GBP. Well, the rigidity of the staff clouded the judgement that we have not got the room to ask for an advance booking for the breakfast buffet. Wish...

「Bluedaws Hotel is an excellent choice for budget conscious travellers looking for a nice clean and friendly hotel near the train station, souvenir shops, restaurants and landmarks. It offers free continental breakfast too.」
