「The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.」

「This property is situated at the end of a road near La Fortuna. Very little signage from the main road so getting there in the dark was kinda scary. Check in was fine and the rooms are spread out in bungalows throughout the lush landscape. This was in July and the rain was constant, especially at night. The room was dissapointing as it is just basic furnishings in an open room. Our waterfall shower had a frog in it. Bugs were present, but with all the moisture it should not be surprising. ...
