“The worst experience I’ve had in the Florida Keys—and I visit often. I wish I could send photos of the conditions of the place. The noise from the air conditioning was infernal; we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. The room was old, falling apart, and filthy. The shower was broken. The towels were dirty. In short—a disaster. I cannot download the photos.”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for our trip of visiting the major keys. ”

“The Edgewater Lodge will serve some well but I personally would not stay there again. Points: (a) It took nearly ½ hour to check in due to short staffing. (b) ‘Standard Room w/ 2 Beds’ layout and structure were good. [Rooms 1-8 are similar floor plans.] (c) The view, looking over the sea toward the Everglades, is great. (d) The room walls are concrete, thus soundproof. But I had neighbors blasting nightclub-volume Latin pop and hip-hop (and jet skis revving in donuts) outside their lodge rooms……

“The property was clean and inviting. We stayed in the room above the office. It was very quiet, clean and smelled fresh. The staff was excellent; he answered our questions and was very helpful when approached. Would happily stay here again! ”
