「I paid £205.00 for a room with a view. We got the view however the hotel was quite disgusting. Upon arrival you see a scruffy mobile home on concrete blocks and on the other side of the hotel it looks like a self build shed in a very bad state of disrepair. The hotel is so run down with repairs needed and filth everywhere. Our bathroom had a large jacuzzi bath but none of us would get in it and the jacuzzi did not work. 「港町オーバンの便利な場所にある小さなホテルで駐車場はなかったものの、ホテルの人に「土日は路上コインパーキングが17時以降は無料」と教えてもらえた。 部屋はやや狭めで冷蔵庫なし。特に不便さは感じなかった。 宿泊料金に含まれている朝食(確か朝食無しのプランはなかったはず)の豪華さには驚いた。ビュッフェスタイルでパン、飲み物、ヨーグルト、フルーツなどを取って食べ始めたら、ウエイトレスさんがテーブルにやってきて、どのメニューがよいか？と聞く。メニュー7つほどあり、これ絶対料金だよね、と夫と話しながら値段を探すがどこにも書いていない。思い切って聞いてみたら、無料で一人一皿付いていますと。そして適当に選んで出てきたのが写真のとおり(一部食べかけですみません)食パンに卵、野菜、ハム、アボカドディップなど豪華に乗ったもので、まわりを見渡すといずれのメニューも工夫を凝らしておいしそうでヘルシー！10日間のスコットランド旅行で一番豪華でコスパのよい朝食でした。」
