"There are prison cells that are more inviting than this room. We were promised a non -smoking room, and it smelled like a Shriners Convention. EVERYTHING in this room was dirty, broken, or sub-standard. I have the pictures to prove it. I paid 168.00 to spend the night in a flophouse, and it’s only because I had no other choice. My advice to anyone considering staying here : AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!"

"A wonderful hotel and an exceptional experience was marred by one of the worst breakfast experiences we can recall. Although we arrived in the dining area at 9:15am - still 45 minutes til the end of service, there was little left. No eggs or any side dish. No batter left for waffles. There weren’t even coffee cups til we asked for some more to be brought out. There was syrup on the floor, where it had been for at least half an hour prior, per reports of those who’d been there. Every single table was dirty. Given the attention to detail that’s evident throughout the hotel, we were both surprised and disappointed."
