It’s not an adult only resort it’s a family resort. They made a building adult only and on the adult only side you have poor food and only two restaurants in one pool. Customer Service With the exception of the cleaning staff, the overall service was very poor. There was no effort to welcome or guide guests. No one explained how the hotel works, where the restaurants were, or even basic information about the property. I was given a reservation for one restaurant (Italian, which I don’t eat), and no flexibility or alternatives were offered. Navigation & Organization I was never able to properly locate the main buffet. I asked multiple staff members (at least 3–4 people), and while they all gave directions, no one was willing to walk me there. I followed the instructions and still couldn’t find it. For a hotel of this size, that level of lack of assistance is unacceptable. Excursions / Logistics I purchased an Xcaret excursion, and the hotel does not allow their buses to pick up or drop off directly. As a result, I was dropped off around 11 PM several hotels away and had to walk back alone at night. This was extremely inconvenient and concerning from a safety standpoint. Food Quality The food was below average. For example, the guacamole was clearly not fresh—it tasted like a pre-packaged product you would buy at a grocery store in the U.S., and the staff later confirmed it was from a bag, not freshly prepared. Overall, the food quality did not meet resort standards. In fact, it was comparable to what you would expect from a 1-star hotel at best. Very clean hotel, Nice staff, great variety of food, had access to all three of the family hotels. If your looking for a peaceful weekend this is the hotel no loud noises and no kids. Definitely recommend the oceanfront view with the private plunge pool made my stay even more amazing.

The place was great, the amenities were excellent and the food delicious. Veneto is the place the stands out the most with their delicious food and great service, unlike the experience we had in Rosmarinus, where the staff was rude and they lack in good service. The MVP club is where I had the most fun all nights besides the pool parties. Also, we loved the Michael Jackson show. The artists are very talented.

Staff was nice. There needs to be upgrades asap! The pool is too small for such a big hotel! Jacuzzi was crowded! The food was not good! Need more authentic Mexican food. The showers were horrible, water coming out from everywhere. The one thing I did not appreciate was the presentations. I think if you stay at a hotel the least they can offer is discounts to activities. Here you were forced to go to a presentation and who does not like discounts. I understand the reason they do it. But they say it’s 1hr 30 min but that’s not including breakfast where they take advantage to talk sales! Then you have 3 people trying to convince when you clearly said no! That was stressful. That should not happen in the same hotel you stay in!! Horrible! Also when you check out you MUST leave your bracers they give you otherwise they will charge you for the time you have them. I had to leave the restaurant I was at because even though after I called the front desk to tell her I took all my stuff out but forgot to leave them(which any other hotel you sometimes don’t even turn them in) she said time would continue as if I was in there! Came back and they were cleaning the room! Never again here.

Very clean and amazing atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. Amazing people. Got access to sister resort royal Solaris. Which makes stay more convenient. Perfect for couple looking for chilling and relaxing vacations. Only had problem with food as I am vegetarian. Had very limited options. It was our second honeymoon and they decorated such an amazing room for us and made our day. Overall good option for who are looking for quite and peaceful place at reasonable prices, Thank you so much GR caribe.

The staff was fantastic as were the restaurant options. At first I was disappointed that an ocean view didn’t mean a balcony but much to my surprise the common areas were so well thought out and much more enjoyable than a balcony.

Property was amazing, staff were wonderful, and the food was better than expected. Only gripe we had was the AC in our room was not working properly. We requested maintenance to come and take a look and they trouble-shooted the issue with no solution. The room continued to be hot and humid throughout the stay. Other than that issue, the GR Solaris Caribe was a hit with us. The App was fairly good just needed a few tweaks.

We had a great overall stay at GR Solaris Caribe and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway, rating it around a 4/5 overall. One of the biggest highlights was our room—we had a private plunge pool right outside our door overlooking the ocean, which was honestly a game changer. The main pool felt pretty crowded for the number of guests (and people “reserving” chairs at 6am and not coming back until 10am… just rude lol), so having our own space made the experience so much more enjoyable. Even better, bartenders Lupita and Marya would come around to the plunge pools to check on us and serve drinks—they were absolutely LOVELY and truly elevated our stay. The only downside to the plunge pool setup is that there aren’t partitions between pools, so privacy can be limited if you have neighbors right next to you. Outside of that, the rooms themselves were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained (5/5). The staff overall were friendly and attentive, and we felt safe the entire time, with transportation around Cancun being easy to navigate. Food and drinks were decent but a bit inconsistent (around 3–3.5/5), and the check-in process could definitely be improved—it wasn’t clear what to do between arrival and official check-in time. The resort app was helpful but could use updates, especially with adding a map, amenity locations, and hours of operation. It would also be helpful to receive a map at check-in, especially with the layout and adjoining resorts, and for bars to offe
