"This was our first stay at the Carmel Beach hotel, and we enjoyed it a lot. The location is perfect: next to the Scenic Drive and the gorgeous sunsets can be seen from the hotel. It is an easy walk to downtown restaurants, although coming back at night requires a mandatory flashlight or a cellphone flashlight for safety. The staff were very pleasant and treated us very well. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. "

"The staff were so nice and the cottage was very clean and well supplied. It was terrific to have a stand alone place, with no upstairs or downstairs neighbors and it was so quiet. Seems like it'd recently been remodeled because everything appeared to be new. Only problem was no hot water, but as soon as we brought it to the attention of the office, it was promptly fixed. We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend to other travelers. "
