「Delighted with my stay! Simple but very quiet & clean single en-suite room (No.3 on 1st floor) overlooking the rear garden. Nice selection of breakfast options, pleasant manager(s) with excellent & speedy communication, parking outside, & the ‘Old Town’ within walking distance. Thanks Duncan & Mei: you’ll be my first choice the next time I visit. 」

「Mr. Tan the host was always helpful and he was willing to prepare the breakfast for me earlier than usual. The guest house, however, is a little bit far away from the centre with approximately 40min walk if you are not taking buses.」

「I very much enjoyed staying here. The room was perfectly clean and neatly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept well. Warm welcome and excellent breakfast too. Would be very happy to stay again.」

「It's not far from city centre, and convenient by taking bus. Peter, the boss, is pretty friendly, the room is clean, and the atmosphere is quiet.」

「Overnight stay in July 2020. Excellent location, perfect property for myself and my partner as we looked to explore a little bit of Edinburgh. Lovely hostess, GREAT breakfast. Arty, bohemian, chic and just a quaint and quirky little flat which was perfect for us. Will return definitely!! Ps the Poltergeist may in fact just be true as it would appear the artwork had all been skewed slightly in the morning! Lol. Great experience all round!」

"Amazing location, way beyond my expectations!!! However I don’t think I’ll live at the top bunk cuz every time I wanna go down it will take some courage… Another thing is that they will need to use passcode and sometimes I can get lost when I first came here. So clean, the restroom just so impressive, quite spacious and they clean it every single day. very affordable, definitely recommend."

"Near to perfect place for stay, from facilities, to staff, to location. Spacious, comfy, good sound proof, with everything you need for short or long stay. Will definitely come back if there's a chance. Above expectation provisions include free capsule coffee in lobby, Netflix, and WhatsApp contact with reception which made communication much easier and convenient. Only complaint is the weak water pressures in shower and lack of pillow options. The pillows are bulk and too high for us."
